These Athletes Are Also Musicians!

Specializing in a single thing is often not the best way to go through life. Anyone can tell you this. Specializing can be helpful and earn you more money, but in reality, it will not be the best way to go forward in life. Knowing more than a single thing and being able to use it in practice is probably the best way to make sure that your future is better. That is why many sports players and viewers alike do not only enjoy watching and playing the matches, but also like using the bet365 Bonus Code.

Some athletes also know this. They have looked at life and realized that sports is not the only thing that they can do, even though they are professionals at that moment in time. Here are some athletes who are also musicians.

John Cena

John Cena is nowadays known as an actor who can sing and even rap, though his career wasn’t that of a musician, obviously. His extremely muscular body points to bodybuilding, but avid WWE fans will know who John Cena is. His entrance music is iconic and his memes about nobody being able to see him are also legendary.

John Cena’s career is interesting, in that he was a professional wrestler, or rather, entertainer, but he moved on to acting, something which comes naturally to him. Apparently, singing and rapping are also among his many talents.

Mike Reid

Mike Reid wasn’t always planning on being a professional footballer playing for the NFL. He was actually trained to be a musician, getting a bachelor’s degree in music at Penn State University in 1969.

His career had to wait, though, as he was first going to be a footballer, and a rather successful one at that. After finishing with his football career, Reid moved on to sing and play the piano, something you probably wouldn’t expect from a man in armor, tackling on a football field.

Doug Flutie

Football players apparently love music, or so it seems. Doug Flutie was a successful quarterback, notable for his relatively short height among quarterbacks. He was an inspiration and played for multiple teams during his career.

He is also a very talented drummer and has had many successful tours during the 1990s, playing with some rather famous bands, like Lynyrd Skynyrd. One could say that Flutie’s rhythm was impeccable and an important part of his gameplay.

Bernie Williams

A talented baseball player, Williams was a World Series champion four times, and a five time All-Star player. He had an impressive baseball career and is one of the many iconic names that the Yankees have.

He is also a classically trained guitarist. As such, Williams has taken up music as his second career, after he was done with baseball. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in music in 2016, after he had already made an album.

Athletes who are also musicians, it is inspiring to see that great athletes can also be musicians and vice versa. These are some of the world’s finest athletes who are also musicians.
